Experimental Photograms Exploring the Nature of Space, Time, Energy, and Matter

“The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science.” – Albert Einstein

I’ve been adding some photograms from my MFA thesis show Ions in the Ether to this gallery. The work consists of experimental photograms exploring the nature of space, time, energy, and matter. I took my inspiration from Einstein’s theory of relativity, quantum physics, string theory, alchemy and mysticism. All of the images are cameraless photograms made in the darkroom using light and photographic papers, film and light sensitized metal plates.

For more information on this work I invite you to read my Artist Statement or view the gallery.
