My passion for photography first became apparent at the age of 12 while taking a photography class in summer school. I loved learning about f/stops, shutter speeds and how to work a camera. As I took pictures I tried to imagine what the negative images looked like on the film inside my camera. The decisive moment came while watching my first print emerge from the developer under the amber glow of the darkroom safelight. It seemed like magic. A lifelong curiosity and passion for photography was born!
Since those days I’ve learned a lot about photography, art and life. I have shot many jobs as a freelance commercial photographer specializing in architectural, product and food photography. My fine art photography has been exhibited and published internationally and I have taught classes in photography, History of Photography and web design to hundreds of students.
